CORE
CORE
Open scholarly infrastructure and search service providing access to a large collection of research papers and repository content.

CORE
Our Take
CORE is particularly helpful when you want to locate open-access research from repositories and journals without immediately running into a paywall. It aggregates scholarly outputs from a large network of sources, making it useful for finding repository copies, broadening an initial literature search, and discovering work that may be difficult to access through subscription databases alone.
Availability and full-text access vary by record, and repository metadata can be inconsistent or duplicated. A result in CORE is not, by itself, a guarantee of peer review or quality; check the original publisher or repository page, publication type, and version. Use CORE alongside subject databases and citation indexes rather than relying on it as the sole source for a systematic review.
